My Bio
I am a commercial artist with around two decades' worth of experience, with much of that time having been spent working in the video games industry and about seven years as a self-employed freelancer. Prior to all that I worked in a design studio, and going back further still I was taking on paid art commissions as young as the age of 14.

Some people know me as 'her wot draws'. Mostly harmless, I spend my life taking leaps forward and hoping to land in big piles of relevance. I consider myself to be yet another example of something.

Well, once again it seems I've spiralled into a time slip between journal updates - more than a year's gone by this time! I do have what I'd consider to be a pretty good excuse though... the best kind of excuse really, in that I've landed a new role - as a FIRST TIME MUM. :love: My hubby and I made a chibi!! :XD: His name's Hal and he was born in June 2013. :aww: And yep, it's been a real game changer on so many levels. I could go on and on about how amazing it all is but I know how boring that can be when you're not bothered about baby stuff (I've been on the other side myself, I was never a particularly broody type but that's not to say I w

Check Out Doctor Who Online's brand new VortExtra Prologue and Epilogue to 'Attack of the Cybermen', with illustrations by yours truly! http://www.drwho-online.co.uk/VortExtra/Attack-Of-The-Cybermen/ Stay tuned for more to come…? ;) :bulletgreen: UPDATE: My second VortExtra - The Keys of Marinus: http://www.drwho-online.co.uk/vortextra/the-keys-of-marinus/ Again, I illustrated the Prologue and Epilogue. This time I went with a monochrome shaded style to reflect the black-and-white TV broadcasts of the First Doctor era. :) :bulletgreen: While I'm here, an update on my work situation; at the moment I'm back to freelancing from home

For a couple of weeks I've been waiting on the official word as to what's happening with my position at Arooga, after having been put on 'garden leave'. This is something I've been through before, 9 years ago in fact - when I worked for Climax Group. The end result has been the same both times, and currently I am now redundant. The reason being, in Arooga's case, that there just isn't enough work coming in to justify keeping me. Of course I am very sad to hear this. I was enjoying my work immensely and thought things were going really well, having only just been praised for my sterling work on Tumble Island: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tum

How do I contact you about a commission?
You're probably sick of hearing this;
but darn, I'm glad i found you on DA. Sudeki was a big part of my life in a way. So I must thank you for creating those character designs. They really do stick out in a great way

Hey! I'm Sarah Foote on FB (Zelfs and Toy Post groups.) Just followed you. You are very talented! :)
Hey, I tagged you in a thing. Have fun. :)
Wow... the ONLY reason I even got Sudeki was because of the character designs, and now I finding the artists on my favorite site! YAY!
Seriously? :wow: Wow, that's the highest possible compliment. Thank you so much! :D
