Drawn for Paul McGann (who plays the Eighth Doctor in Doctor Who). He was a guest at Invasion, a Doctor Who convention my hubby and I recently attended. I gave Paul the original drawing and made a printed copy for myself which I got autographed by him.
Incidentally I also showed Paul my ball-jointed doll in Eighth Doctor gear. Initially he joked about its spookiness but he seemed to become rather fascinated with it! I achieved my dream of getting a photograph taken of my hubby and I with Paul holding the doll.
Mr. McGann is an ultimate hero of Chris and I, so it was a brilliant experience actually meeting him this past Saturday. He really is a super bloke, very personable and lovely to speak to. Some say you should never meet your heroes because you'll only end up disappointed... but I say cobblers! That's really not the case... at least, not if you've got good taste in heroes!
Eeeeee! Just checked out your Five! That is pretty spooky with our synchronised DW artses, arf! Paul autographed over a thousand times that day... he must have been knackered! But I hope he was happy to get something back for a change. He seemed especially happy with his photo of my BJD (he got the photographer to take one for him so he could show his son)!
haha very cool story to go with your picture,I'd never be brave enough to do that. I love how you've drawn his hair and his eyes really stand out nicely.

Note to self: make Paul McGann personal hero on off chance of meeting him.
