Done as a thank-you to skyglass_ who wrote a beautiful fic based on my request.
My request was for a story told from the perspective of the TARDIS. The TARDIS is sentient you know, and the 'old girl' has the ability to manifest her consciousness as a personage if she wants to (I feel the TARDIS has been rather neglected as a 'character' in the new Doctor Who). The story takes place after the events of 'Last of the Time Lords' (the season 3 finale) which aired here recently. Bear in mind that who you see here with the Tenth Doctor is not actually the Master himself, but rather the TARDIS' projection of him. Hence his expression looking rather out-of-character (not the all-out evil nutbar he usually is). I wanted to get him looking as close as the Master might possibly get to being compassionate, whilst having the detachment of a machine. So I gave him that sort of distant look in his eyes.

Whenever I do a fan-art piece like this I try hard to make the characters look like who they're supposed to be. I'm particularly happy with Tenth Doc on this one, though admittedly he's the easiest to get looking right out of him and the (John Simm) Master. I them both!
