Impromptu anime cosplay fun with my ball-jointed doll Kotaro (a Dollzone Yuu).
Here he is as Karasu from Noein... I've tried to recreate that iconic imagery of Karasu in the aoi yuki (blue snow). :aww:

Fifteen years in the future, a violent battle using fictional technology takes place between two "timespaces": La'cryma, a possible future of our own universe, and Shangri'la, a dimension intent on the destruction of all space and time. The key to stopping Shangri'la's invasion is a mysterious object known as the "Dragon Torque". A group known as the "Dragon Knights" is sent through space and time to find it. In the present, twelve-year old Haruka and her friend Yū are contemplating running away from home when they meet a member of the Dragon Knights named Karasu. He believes that Haruka is the Dragon Torque and appears to be Yū from fifteen years in the future.

Yes I agree everyone should watch this wonderful anime from Akane-san. I think your idea is wonderful, mostly in your presentation. At first I thought I was looking at a cosplay, then at a CG drawing.That fact that it is a doll is amazing. Great work!

This is very good! I love Karasu, and this looks a lot like the real character. Is the pipeline part of the actual doll, or digitally added? (it looks cool either way)

Thank you! :aww: And I added the pipeline digitally in Photoshop... ^^;
Incidentally I have another version of this picture which I edited to include a photo of the church from Noein in the background. I might put it in my scraps at some point... I actually went to Noein's real-life location of Hakodate last year and got snaps of that church from the intro. My hubby and I saw lots of the things in and around Hakodate that feature in the anime. We went up in the cable car to Mount Hakodate too... didn't get attacked by Atori though. LOL! :giggle:
