A piece of artwork I did for Socratic Ideas [link] on the theme of good vs. evil in a religious sense, for use as a DVD cover. I was really pleased with how this one came out, especially for its epic, almost neo-classical feel. My favourite part is the demon/devil - I'm chuffed with his design in the way that the physics of it look believeable (like the musculature, beast-like elements and the way the light shines through the skin of his wings... woo ^_^) but at the same time surreal (is that a mask or his real face? Spooky)...
Father Christmas is saying to the devil "You've been a very naughty boy, that's the last time you interrupt me in the shower. No presents for you this year!" Just kidding, I expect you already gathered that's supposed to be a classical sort of God representation at the top. Very Old Testament, dig the beard.
