Okay, I promised I wouldn't flood my DA gallery with photos of my doll Kotaro... but I felt this one just had to be put up here. ^^;
This is Kota (a Dollzone Yuu ball-jointed doll) modelling a custom outfit I commissioned from the wonderful Gayle (who resides on the Den of Angels forums... [link] sorry I don't have a more specific link, you'll probably have to be a forum member to see her stuff).
Whovians will note that this is based on the Eighth Doctor from Doctor Who, as played by Paul McGann. I even tried to position my doll to emulate some of the TV movie promo shots (which is where the background comes from - credit to the BBC for that!). :worship:

It's somewhat difficult to classify this pic as it's partly photography, partly photo-manipulation and partly fan-art! :flirty:

UPDATE:
My dream of getting a photo of my doll in the hands of the definitive article came true! Paul and his miniature self look great... shame the same can't be said of Chris and I, LOL! *tin dog mode* :XD:

Very very VERY cool! Great idea and instantly recognisable as the 8th Doctor. ;) Neat idea using the background photo too. Looks like he's in the film!

Do you have a link to who made the costume? It's such a fantastic piece of work!

Wows what a doll! Love what you've done with it in this image. The clothing must have cost a lot to get commissoned, but so very worth it. I love the idea for who it's modelled on.
